Evan started this site after seeing the long dumb names of a lot of anime on the front page of CrunchyRoll one day. Knowing that something called In Another World with My Smartphone could not be good, he nonetheless took the clickbait and decided to watch it. Someone had to go into these trashy shows and figure out which were actually worth watching and which to just avoid entirely. With nothing but free time and a lot of alcohol on hand, his deep dive into the bottom of the barrel began.
Ads and Site Tracking
The overlords at google have apparently determined this site is not suitable for their ad partners. While we have no idea why they shafted us, it means this site is totally free of ads! However, if you’re a successful Twitch streamer and would like your channel prominently displayed on our home page next to the Waifu badge you can do so for the low low price of a VIP badge for ecompton3 in your stream!
As for site tracking, I think Google analytics is working? So your activity might be getting tracked by that, otherwise we just use the built in WordPress/Jetpack analytics. Your data is not sold to anyone by the site operator, I just like seeing the bar go up.
